The Speed Gamers officially ended up catching 429 of the 491 Pokemon, and more importantly, raising close to $6,000 for ACT Today! Next Christmas break (2009) they will attempt to catch them all again, and they believe with the experience the gamers have now, they will succeed.

One of the official pokemon cites has revealed a booster pack called Platinum. Based on the game that believed to be released early Feb. if there is no delays.
The set will include 130 cards, and will feature new trainer-specific Pokémon, called Pokémon SP.

The new Pokemon TCG is coming out… and it’s called Platinum! This set will be released on February 11, 2009 and feature Giratina and Shaymin in their new formes… It also features special Galatic Pokemon and contains 130 different cards, so have fun trying to collect them all!
