Legendary Pokemon HG & SS

July 19, 2009

Lugia, the Diving Pokemon, is found in SoulSilver within the depths of Whirl Island after you drive Team Rocket off in GoldenRod. It is Psychic and Flying with some water attacks so it is suggested to be prepared well. It will become available later in Heart Gold at a point.
Ho-oh, the Phoenix Pokemon, is found in HeartGold at the top of Tin Tower after driving off Team Rocket in Goldenrod. It is a Fire and Flying Pokemon. It will be available in SoulSilver at a later point.
In the Brass Tower, you will meet a character named Eusine. He will tell you about the Three Legendary Beasts who live in the Brass Tower. One time, they were caught in the fire that burned it down until Ho-oh brought them back to life. You will later meet them in the basement of the Brass Tower where they will quickly disbaqnd and roam across Johto’s grasses.
As said earlier, you will soon unlock Dialga, Palkia, or Giratina. You can choose one and one only.
Later in the game, after you defeat the Elite Four, you can capture Groudon or Kyogre, depending on the game. Once you bring both Groudon and Kyogre together, Rayquaza will appear.

June 13, 2009

As you frequent visitors may tell (and I thank you for it), there has not been much lately in Pokemon. Everything is slow-go. We’re in summer- the time of relaxion: time to hit the beach!

Some updates, however. I know I said we’d be more active, but summer’s a drag, and I have a cold… wow. Pokemon’s in the very slow lane.

Anyway, we’ve got a ton of updates.

In Heart Gold and Soul Silver, Pokemon follow you. It has just recently been discovered you are not limited to the starters. There are screenshots of many other Pokemon following you in-game. You can turn and talk to your Pokemon to see how they’re feeling. They sometimes hold accessories like in Amity Square, and all 493 Pokemon can follow you.Pokedex and Box Navigation has received a new touch screen style navigation theme. It has been implemented into the game. The map of Johto in the background confirms that the game heads east TOWARD KANTO! and shows Route 28 by Mt. Silver. It also shows a new area near the west of National Park. Pre-orders for the games begin in July, on the 4th. You get a Ho-oh figure for pre-ordering Gold, Lugia for Silver, and Arceus for both.

Also: A level 5 Jirachi is available for ALL games released; D/P/Pt. It has Wish, Confusion, Rest, and Draco Meteor holding a Liechi Berry. July 17-19.

A new area in Heart Gold and Soul Silver unlocks if Jirachi is traded over.

The Heart Gold and Soul Silver art have Ho-oh and Lugia (as you knew they would) with Johto focusing on the Tin Tower (Ho-oh) and Whirl Islands (Lugia) in the background.

Also, Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza are available in Heart Gold and Soul Silver. Groudon in Gold, Kyogre in Silver. If you get either, Rayquaza will appear.

There is a possible Arceus event in Gold and Silver which features Arceus and Cynthia in a triangle between three symbols, possibly, sybolizing Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. If you transfer the movie Arceus to Gold/Silver (HG/SS), you will be able to go to a place in the game to unlock a Level 1 Dialga, Palkia, or Giratina.

The Poketalker is a hardware that allows you to transfer one Pokemon from HG/SS to it. You walk around with it and such. It raises level and happiness and has a pedometer. You can play minigames as well later. You can also come across some items.

Even Further News on Explorers of the Sky

April 25, 2009

How to change Giratina has been discovered, but it cannot be done in every dungeon. It appears in the new dungeons added to the game such as Wish Cave, Sky Summit, Zero Isle Central, Destiny Tower, Forgotten Woods, Devil Seas, Southeastern Archipelago & Blaze Cave, Giratina will transform into its Origin Forme. In Time and Darkness Dungeons, it will be in its Altered Form.
Also, Gracidea Flower is a one-time use item. You have the ability to receive many more for free from a Shaymin in Shaymin Villiage.

In Spinda’s Cafe, if you recycle:
3 Items, you receive Landslide Cave
6 Items, you receive Tiny Meadow
60 Items, you receive Oran Forest
100 Items, you receive End Lake
150 Items, you receive Zero Isle Central.

In further news, if you buy a drink from Spinda, there is a very low chance of something happening. This includes random Pokemon joining your team, obtaining an egg, or having a new dungeon to explore. The dungeons include Serenity River, Lush Prarie, Happy Outlook, Mt. Mistral, Lost Wilderness, and the dungeon everyone has been waiting for; Destiny Tower.

The Destiny Tower is a MASSIVE 99 Floor Dungeon. You cannot take ANY items and you can be only 1 (ONE) Pokemon. Your level is reduced (as always and obviously) to Level 1. Once you complete exploring the 99th floor, you are taken up to the very top, where the statue of Arceus awaits you. The statue has the following written on it; “Conquering time-space, making hearts as one”, and “Is this the legendary Pokemon that created everything, Arceus?”. You then receive the new item, the Time-Space Orb (gasp), which raises your attack and other stats to maximum.

After a certain point in the game, Spinda’s Cafe will have missions, some of which will be Challenge Requests. These are Pokemon asking you to go to a certain dungeon and face them. If you defeat them, they will join your expedition teram. These special dungeons allow 9 items and 2 Pokemon and are unlocked when you reach certain ranks for your team. These go beyond Master Rank and go to:

Master Rank * which Unlocks Forgotten Woods
Master Rank ** which Unlocks Devil Seas
Master Rank *** which Unlocks Southeastern Archipelago
Guild Master Rank which Unlocks Blaze Cave.

Explorers of the Sky Release Date, Event, Championships

April 10, 2009

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Releases very soon in Japan (April 18th).

Today, the official US site announced the details of the Secret Key Events. Like in Canada, they will be hosting a brick and mortar event in Toys ‘R’ Us on April 19-26.

Last night, the official site for Pokemon World Championships revealed details of each branch of the World Championships. It provided a list of specific dates for the championships that you can enter in and how everything works. It is a Pokemon Platinum only event so you need to have the game and teams restricted to Level 50 or lower. Also, the matches are double matches and have specific restrictions listed in the rules. There are restrictions on the Pokemon you can use, specifically no two of the same and not allowing Mewtwo, Mew, Tyranitar, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Rotom, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, or (sadly) Arceus. If you enter this tournament, you are eligible to receive a shiny Milotic that knows Rain Dance, Recover, Hydro Pump, and Icy Wind. It has a Flame Orb attached and has the Classic Ribbon.

Facts About Platinum

September 9, 2008

With the release of Pokemon, everyone is buying Platinium and getting a friend to transfer their original Pokemon to Platinum which is a great idea to quickly defeat the Elite Four. So here is the news:

If you don’t know Rotom has 5 new forms resembling garden and kitchen appliances.

Giratina is the first Legendary to get but if you’re stupid enough to kill saying that you can catch it again or saying ‘I already have on so I dont need another one’, go ahead.

So capture Giratina! Remember no earth moves! So after you capture him or kill him he will revert back to his original forme like in DP, so wait and don’t release it. The Platinum Orb will be available AFTER you have defeated the Elite Four once. After the credits roll, the path to Spring Path will clear. You will be able to go inside, and once you arrive where Giratina should be in DP, there will be a portal. This portal leads to another area inside the Torn World. It isn’t hard to find the Platinum Orb (Having done it myself). So good luck getting the Platinum Orb!

And so the following pokemon so far are the same way to get them:

Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf

Go to FLORAMA town in the morning and talk to a girl near the bottom of Florama Town and she will give u a GlacidaFlower (if you have Shaymin)

(Action Replay codes posted for Platinum including Azure Flute, Oak’s Letter, Secret Key, and Member Pass.)
