Pokemon Ranger 2: Shadows of Almia (November 10th, 2008!)

November 10, 2008

Today, on November 10th, the sequel to Pokemon Ranger came out in the U.S. It is known as Pokemon Ranger 2: Shadows of Almia, or in Japanese, Pokemon Ranger Batonnage.

 Pokemon Ranger 2

This game doesn’t have many changes like the other Pokemon games… the reason WHY Lucario IS on the cover is because

1. He plays a major role in Pokemon Movie 8: LUCARIO and the Mystery of Mew

2. You can obtain Riolu in the game.

So those are the reasons… the starters are Munchlax, Starly, or Pachirisu. But you can change your partner later… anyway, they changed a few minor things, and it’s a lot harder (some people don’t think so but in my point of view after trying it). Instead of having the number of loops you have to circle the Pokemon, the Pokemon has a HP bar. If you circle it enough times, you capture it. But if you don’t do it fast enough, the Pokemon will regain its HP. Bosses are EXTREMELY hard, and I doubt there are any AR codes for this game (yet).

Bosses:

Tangrowth, Toxicroak, Rampardos, Drapion, Spiritomb, Froslass, LUCARIO, Infernape, HEATRAN, Kingdra, Gliscor, CRESSELIA, Magnezone, Electivire, Garchomp, Rhyperior, Magmortar, Gallade, Dusknoir, Darkrai, and Regigigas.

Pokemon Ranger Shadows of Almia coming out November 10th (5 days from now)! Also, the only way to get Regigigas is by obtaining 266 Pokemon in the game. You will gain entrance to a temple (forget the name), and Regigigas will be waiting inside. He is the hardest of all bosses in the game.
