- Diamond, Pearl: In the very back of the Turnback Cave, which you can access from Route 214 after obtaining the National Dex.
- Platinum: At the very end of the Distortion World, at the top of the Spear Pillar and Mt. Coronet. It will be in Origin Forme when you fight it, but if you catch it, it will be in Altered Forme until you give it the Platinum Orb. If you knock out Giratina in the Distortion World, you can find it in Altered Forme in the very back of the Turnback Cave (the same as in Diamond and Pearl, except at level 47) after beating the Elite Four.
